I lost my password, how can I have it back?
You just have to click on the “Damn, I lost my password” button in the Log In section. Your username and your email adress will be asked, so that we can send to you a new password. You will be then able to change it.
Can I write my biography, my blogs, my messages ... in another language, even though the site is in english?
Yes, you can . But you will lessen your chances to be known by people who don't understand this language.
Do I have to register to listen to/buy songs?

Yes you can, but you will need two different identifiers.
Site / Profile
Why is the site in english?
We want to welcome on the site artists and people from different countries. English as the main language of the site seems then the best choice to gather an important number of people. In the future, we’ll probably add other languages.
Why are there little figurines next to the profile picture?
Those little characters are used to indicate whether the profile you are viewing belongs to a band, a citizen, or a pro & partner, depending on its color. Green is for musicians, blue for citizens, and brown for pro&partners.
The symbol also indicates if the person/band is online or not. If the symbol appears off and on repeatedly, then the person is for the moment connected to MusicDemocracy.com
Music
What is a bundle?
A bundle is a pack of songs created by the artist to sell several songs at the same time, at the range of price he chooses. The number of tracks included in the bundle is indicated next to the title, as well as its price .
Are the artists really free to decide the price of their work? Aren't there some constraints?
It is actually up to the musician to decide at which price he decides to sell his work. He can decide to make it free for teenagers, to sell it for 1, 2, 10 credits... The maximum price is 100 credits (the maximum number of credits a citizen can buy). On the other hand, the citizen can buy a track/bundle at a higher price than the fixed price (not under).
What is precisely a credit? How can I buy some?
On Music Democracy, the devise used is spoken in terms of credits. One credit equals one euro.
In order to buy songs, you will have first to credit your account, by simply clicking on the “my basket” icon. You will then have the possibility to add credits to your account, with a minimum of 10 credits (10 euros), by using on line payment (credit card).
This reserve of credits is thought to make life easier for the citizen, who will not have to use his credit card every time he wants to buy a song.
How musicians will get paid?
In order to be paid, musicians will have to own a paypal account. We will store up all the purchases that have been made (tracks, bundles) and every two months, we will transfer 60% of the total sum on the musician's paypal account (provided that it includes at least 10 credits).
