Junior Market is Nono's project, a 31 years old musician and sound designer from Lille (France). After a few years in a music school where he learned playing organ, he goes towards rock music, changes his organ for a guitar and then plays with different bands. He discovered digital music a little after. But the first composed pieces came out very fastly. First simply realised with a synthetizer, it quickly became more elaborate and mixes digital technologies with organic instruments.

In 98, Junior Market appeared with a techno music association in an electro music festival called " le Nord Digital " wich took place in l' Aéronef of Lille, France.

           
At the same time he created new solo pieces.In 99, a first self produced cd came out in Lille's musicshop.In November 2000, the Guest Records music label proposed him to joint them on the Northern Light compilation.

Finally, in 2002, it's first maxi vinyl ( 4 titles ) came out on waz recordz label.

The music of Junior Market is an invitation to travel, wich places the listener in a musical & visual universe, colored and play. Junior collaborated with the graphist DanyBoy (SemperFi) for this web site (http://www.juniormarket.com) and with Mok on the creation of an original and personal graphic universe for v-jaying.

          
Composer and sound-designer in free-lance for the multimedia, he work’s for a clients (Chman, Wanda…) and collaborate with artists multimedia (123klan, Danyboy and Rolito of Semper Fi, Baba3000…).

 
Going through all facets of digital music, his style goes from abstract hip-hop to easy-listening, from breakbeat to jazz, passing by jungle tainted of world music and inspired by India and Africa.

Even if Junior Market mostly creates his music with digital instruments, he likes to mix it with analogical instruments, rythmes, chorus and traditionnal instruments from any country.

So on the stage, with more than 50 concerts besides Junior Market we can see  Gomoy playing flute, Dj Wako scratching and Mok (v-jay). This is all making a resourceful and detonating live.
